The ICC Banking Commission meeting held in Rome at the end of October 2002 approved the International Standard Banking Practice for the Examination of Documents under Documentary Credits (ISBP).

Documentary Credits play an essential role in the support of secure international trade for Poland.

The ISBP is now effective.

The widespread application of ISBP will play an important part in the development of secure international trade, particularly in the context of progressive markets such as Poland.

This ISBP workshop will examine in detail the application of the ISBP and their impact the examination of documents under Documentary Credits. The workshop will also provide answers to the key questions posed by documentary practitioners.

This seminar will take place from 24 to 26 February 2003 and will be attended by leading International Trade Finance Bankers as well as exporters, importers and legal advisors.

It looks like eBSI tutors will have a hectic international schedule in 2003 as eBSI tutors have already been invited to deliver seminars in Russia, Pakistan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Hungary, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Dubai, Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic and Thailand.
